Our Mission
Mawakhat dates back to the time when Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and his companions migrated from the persecution of Meccans to seek refuge in Medina. This led to an economic imbalance. To address this financial crisis Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) instituted a brotherhood called Mawakhat-e-Madina to overcome the crisis.
مواخات کا تعلق اس وقت سے ہے جب نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور آپ کے ساتھیوں نے مکہ والوں کے ظلم و ستم سے ہجرت کرکے مدینہ میں پناہ لی تھی۔ اس سے معاشی عدم توازن پیدا ہوا۔ اس مالیاتی بحران سے نمٹنے کے لیے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ و آلہ وسلم نے بحران پر قابو پانے کے لیے مواخاتِ مدینہ کے نام سے ایک اخوت قائم کی۔
Through the Mwakhat program, Crescent Green has tried to copy the Madina model of Mwakhat. We are working together for a world free of oppression primarily caused by poverty. Mawakhat e Madina Model enables donors and beneficiaries to collaborate in a dignified brotherhood way. The Mawakhat e Madina Model is enabling donors and beneficiaries to collaborate and has inspired officials, influencers, leaders, interfaith organizations, Islamic scholars, renowned speakers, government representatives, community members, and many others to put in a good word.

- To provide and spread happiness to the poor
- To offer interest-free microfinance services to poor families and make them autonomous.
- To promote interest-free loans (Qarz-e-Hasana) as a viable model and a broad-based resolution for poorness alleviation.
- To offer social steering, capability building, and entrepreneurial coaching.
- To institutionalise the spirit of brotherhood.
- To contribute towards the institution of a socially accountable community through awareness, enrolment, and coaching.
